Ampang has two sides. Near KLCC are Ampang Hilir and Embassy Row, which are in Kuala Lumpur and covered in the Ampang Hilir area guide. Further out, the hillside neighbourhoods of Ukay Perdana and Hulu Kelang are in Selangor but carry an Ampang postcode (68000), with the MRR2, AKLEH, DUKE, SPE and SUKE highways nearby. The launch we currently index here is Ukay Spring: 142 gated landed strata homes on 21.52 acres of a 56-acre masterplan, with 2.5-storey link villas of 3,136 and 3,453 sq ft and 3-storey semi-detached homes of 4,734 sq ft. It is leasehold, sits about 167 m above sea level beside a 6.36-acre private forest, and the developer had not published prices when we last checked.
