Ampang Hilir lies off Jalan Ampang, just east of KLCC, and is best known as Embassy Row — the embassies of Korea, China and Indonesia (among others) sit here, along with Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Great Eastern Mall and the International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL). It is one of the more established and greener residential pockets within a short drive of the city centre.
