Shah Alam has quietly built two separate transit stories at once. In the existing Golden Triangle core, Dato' Menteri LRT station already anchors a cluster of new high-rise development, with SACC Mall and Plaza Alam Sentral providing retail nearby. A few kilometres out, Section 13 is positioning itself around the upcoming LRT3 Shah Alam Line, with developments there marketed as Transit-Oriented Developments ahead of the line actually opening.
That means location premiums in Shah Alam currently split into two groups — projects already sitting on confirmed rail infrastructure, and projects betting on infrastructure still under construction. Verify each project's actual distance to its nearest station and its completion timeline against the relevant transit line's own progress before treating "TOD" as a settled fact.
